Metropolitan Advertising Company was founded in 1950 by a group of Jaycees in Florida. The Jaycees is an organization for young professionals to develop social and leadership skills through community service. They created the bench program with the purpose to provide people a place to rest throughout their travels. The Jaycees worked to develop benches across Florida, into additional states and even in some foreign countries. The bench project is considered the oldest and longest running project of the Florida Jaycees. Their sponsorship helps to assure quality benches and locations for Metropolitan Advertising Company customers.

What types of companies are not advertised with Metropolitan Advertising Company?
We will not allow any advertising for a product or service that can not be used or purchased by a minor; an exception is the Florida Lottery due to its contributions to education.
What are the artwork requirements for producing a bench?
The copy space is 24x72 printed @ 600 DPI. Artwork can be provided from a TIFF, EPS, PDF or AI. When providing photos, a 5x7 glossy is preferred. Production turnaround is 2 to 3 weeks once final approval of artwork. Any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
